Clare Valley Gourmet 2021 will be celebrated over a week from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th May. There will be wine, delicious food and live music around various venues in the region.
Sevenhill Hotel are “Winding Down” the long week celebrations by hosting a Free Event with Wine Tasting, Live Music, Food all Day & Make Your Own Clutch Bag by Local Artist.
Local Winemaker “Marnie Roberts” is the owner, creative director and business manager of “Matriarch and Rogue”. She says, “You can only make wine as good as the fruit you use. Clare Valley is a famous wine growing region for a reason, the fruit is pure and flavoursome. As a winemaker here, it is easy to create wines that I love to make and drink”.
She will be offering tastings of:
The Driving Doris Duo will be providing laid back acoustic guitar and harmonies Live all afternoon. An eclectic fusion of folk inspired country. The musicians will create a relaxed atmosphere in the outdoor beergarden at the Hotel. Sit in the Autumn sun on the deck or undercover in the heated beergarden area.
You can’t have wine and music without some delicious food to accompany the experience. Head Chef Ash has created some mouthwatering choices: Pulled beef tacos with slaw & lime kewpie OR Kingfish sashimi, fresh orange segments, radish, onion rings, mesclun lettuce, with a Matriarch & Rogue Maurie Vermentino dressing.
Local Artist Holly Shadiac from “Long Legs Art” will also be there allowing customers to create their own personalised clutch bag. Hand painted then taken to be sewn into your own individualised clutch.
