Hotel Awards 2018
Each year the Australian Hotels Association (SA) hosts a prestigious awards night where they hand out awards for excellence to some of the top pubs and restaurants around South Australia.
This years SA AHA awards night was held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on July 24th. Over 750 people attended this glamourous event with entertainment provided by Ricki-Lee Coulter and the evening was hosted by Hamish McLachlan.
The Sevenhill Hotel was nominated for the “SA Best Country Dining” award, which it won in 2017. The competition for this award is always extremely tough given the extensive list of amazing dining venues around our beautiful state who pride themselves on providing exceptional dining experiences. With the high level of competition in mind, Sevenhill Hotel owners and Clare Valley locals, Paul and Kate, were thrilled to receive the Award for a second year in a row!

Paul and Kate headed to the Gold Coast in September to the AHA National Hotel Awards up against the best Country Venues right across Australia This years National Hotel Awards were hosted at the beautiful Grand Mirage for a long lunch followed by a poolside cocktail party. It was great to mingle with the greatest hotels in Australia swapping stories and experiences which will be used to help keep the Sevenhill Hotel focused on what it can do to win next years awards. Despite not taking out the overall national award, the Sevenhill Hotel still came in the Top 10 in Australia and that is something Kate and Paul are extremely proud of!
